CAPE ESCAPE . . . Less than 2 hours from Boston and in the heart of the Cape, our wonderful vacation rental offers the best the Cape has to offer. Recently refurbished to a high standard, with a fresh and modern appeal this home comfortably sleeps 8 in four bedrooms, with plenty of space to relax both indoors or out. We are situated in historic Brewster, close to both Orleans and Chatham. Our fantastic family getaway is located on the edge of Nickerson State Park, with easy access to the Cape Cod Rail Trail and only five minutes to Cape Cod’s best beaches. Nearby Crosby Landing Beach is one of the best bayside beaches on the Cape, offering miles of white sand and gentle waves perfect for that lazy afternoon. On the Atlantic side, nestled in the beautiful sand dunes, is the famous Nauset Beach with its golden sands, stunning vista and crashing surf. Our kids love hoping on their bikes and racing down to fresh water oasis’ of Flax or Cliff Pond, in Nickerson State Park, and enjoying a cooling swim or renting a kayak, SUP or Sunfish from Jacks. We are well located on a half acre plot, with a finished garden and lawns, surrounded by local white oak that provides pockets of shade on those hot summer afternoons. The sun deck, added in 2012, is a wonderful space to entertain and fire up the grill in the evenings; and the kids will love hanging out in the tree house or roasting so’mores around the fire pit. The outside shower is perfect when returning from the beach or when you simply need to cool off from the midday sun. Inside, the open living spaces continues with both a modern living room on the ground floor and a second large family / TV room in the fully finished basement with 50” plasma and cable. The basement walks straight out to the garden, easy to dart in from the outdoor shower. Back up the ground floor there is a full kitchen, well stocked with all the things you’ll need to entertain, and adjoining dining area with seating for eight. There are four air conditioned bedroom, two on the ground floor (a twin and a queen) as well as a full bathroom. Upstairs there are the two further bedrooms, a large Master with Queen and a large bright kids room, and the second bathroom. The house has cable, wireless, washer/dryer, dishwasher and a well equipped kitchen. Bed linens are not provided as standard, but can be included for an extra fee.
